New Heating System for Poole Old Town Community Association

Case Study

Poole Old Town Community Association is situated in Lagland Street. It is used by many local people from the very young, babies to the elderly. It has a large hall which can hold up to 150 people and a smaller cafe for 20.

“Providing a comfortable environment is extremely important with vulnerable groups such as babies and the elderly, particularly for the latter whose homes may not be as warm as they should be.”

The centre had a problem with keeping the temperature at a comfortble level. The old boiler was failing fast and more efficient and cost effective heating was required able to produce a warm hall quickly. We replaced the existing boiler with an energy efficient Keston C55 wall hung boiler with a stainless steel unvented cylinder. In the large hall (16m x 8m) we fitted Sabiana fan heaters.
